Steve Toth is an ordained minister and the new Chairman of the Mighty Oaks Foundation Board of Directors. Steve will be rejoining the Texas Legislature this year, representing the South, Montgomery County area. Steve and Babette run a small business and have been married 34 years with three adult children.
Steve has also been a contributor on CNN, FOX News, Fox Business News and a panelist for Houston’s Fox 26 “What’s Your Point”
Founder of Mighty Oaks Foundation, Chad Robichaux, explains that “many great men stepped in to mentor me and Kathy through our struggles, but none more than Steve Toth and Pastor Jeff Wells of WoodsEdge Community Church. It was through this church that Kathy and I were ordained and commissioned as ministers and sent to begin the Mighty Oaks ministry to America’s military warriors and families. It’s great to have such a strong leader now also leading our Board of Directors!”
Speaking of strong leadership, while a member of the Texas House, Representative Steve gained a reputation as a firebrand conservative. He authored and successfully passed several pieces of legislation, most notably the Federal Firearms Protection Act, making it a Class A misdemeanor to interfere with a Texan’s Second Amendment right, and the CSCOPE Transparency Act, which brought the liberal indoctrination curriculum known as Common Core under the oversight and approval of the State Board of Education.
