About Mighty Oaks
Legacy Programs
The Mighty Oaks journey begins with an intensive peer-based Program for men and women. Through instructional sessions, camaraderie, and team building activities, our Programs empower those who attend to overcome the traumas of the past and move forward into a life of purpose.
Our six-day intensive peer-to-peer Programs serve as the catalyst to help men & women discover the answers to life’s big questions. Challenges related to the struggles of service, combat deployments and the symptoms of post-traumatic stress surface during this time together, but with the Tools, Strategies, and Resources provided throughout the week, each participant is equipped to make the necessary changes to live the life they were created to live.

What to expect
What sets our Programs apart is the unique atmosphere created by our staff. Legacy Programs are safe, confidential, and genuinely authentic. The course material isn’t just presented but demonstrated through the instructors’ honest and open sharing of their personal experiences, from failures to victories. Building on the strong sense of community inherent in military service, our staff elevates this camaraderie to new heights. We embody the motto “Never Fight Alone.” Experiencing our Legacy Program firsthand is essential to truly understand its impact, as it will challenge your perceptions and potentially change your life.
A typical day at our Legacy Program starts with a flag-raising ceremony and breakfast. The day includes various classes and presentations on diverse topics, which together form a comprehensive vision of living with one’s legacy in mind. Each presentation is followed by a “Breakout” session, where participants meet in teams with a leader to discuss and apply the lessons personally. Additionally, there is time for site-specific activities and connecting with others.
Outposts
Mighty Oaks extends a sanctuary of support, healing, and camaraderie to local veterans, service members, spouses, and Legacy Program Alumni through our Outposts. These gatherings are a beacon for those who seek continued growth and resilience, guiding members through the challenges they face both before and after completing our Program. Each Outpost is meticulously chosen and partnered with affiliate churches and organizations, ensuring that the highest standards of care and leadership are upheld

Application Process
How do I attend a program offered by Mighty Oaks?
The most efficient way to get scheduled for a Legacy Program offered by Mighty Oaks is to complete the program application. A program coordinator will respond to the applicant within 24 – 48 hours to gather more information and provide potential program dates.
